My name is Kiki Bellou and I am an artist based in Athens, Greece. I own an online concept store where you can find a selection of my work available for purchase.
I studied Set and Costume design and I hold an Integrated Master’s in the School of Film at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I started sketching when I was young and I was always too passionate about tiny things. Then I discovered the cinema. Through that, I got in touch with small-scale works of art mock-ups and I got hooked. So, here I am doing my thing, as a set designer on a movie set, I am transforming empty boxes into a vibrant story, and also weaving together miniatures, prints, and occasional movies.
A tiny world is a beautiful world, where even the gritty details take on a unique charm. It’s a place where everything seems simpler, problems shrink to a manageable size, and worries can be neatly tucked away. In a world that often feels too big and too complicated, miniatures remind us of the beauty in simplicity and the magic of small things. And that’s pretty inspiring!
